If the wall needs to transfer horizontal forces to the floor slab, the contact between the two must be secured by preparing the surfaces as required.
SIMPLE MECHANICAL SUPPORT. Pay special attention to the bottom reinforcement since it may run short of the support depending on the model employed in the analysis of the slab - the contribution of the negative reinforcement is minimal.
Also pay special attention to the load that is transmitted to the lower floor, if applicable.
